Distributed Simulation
Distributed simulation has become an invaluable tool to enhance military readiness. It is being used across the DoD to provide analyses, simulation-based acquisition, system-of-systems test and evaluation, distributed training, and mission rehearsal, to name just a few applications. Raytheon VTC is the leading provider of software and systems engineering expertise and key enabling tools and technologies to many of the most crucial distributed simulation programs in the DoD, supporting the development of complex integrated synthetic environments that span and integrate the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) domains.
C2 Systems
Today, our warfighters enjoy key technology advantages in the area of C2 systems. Much as the linking of distributed simulation components creates new and enhanced value to those systems, current efforts to fuse operational information systems is producing tremendous value to the warfighter. Providing interoperability between Service-specific systems provides warfighters with network-centric coordination and collaboration capabilities essential to today's Joint and Coalition operations. Raytheon VTC is at the forefront of this C2 fusion effort, providing software and systems engineering support, key enabling tools and technologies, and full life-cycle support for operationally fielded systems in use in the Global War on Terror (GWOT).
